Victorian Public Service Agreement 2019

When departments and agencies receive a request from unions to enter into a company agreement with a single interest, they must consider those requests and, before responding, forward those requests and their proposed response to the government (through the CBU) for consideration. For each application for authorisation, services and agencies expect at least the following: the integration of changing priorities is essential for the creation of a secure and flexible employment framework in the public service. The parties recognized the importance of ensuring that employees can be deployed in a reactive manner to support government priorities. These measures will improve job security within the VPS and provide more opportunities to develop your career, increase your skills and ensure that employment in the public service remains secure and flexible. Important company agreements are those with a large workforce in the public sector, such as the civil service, nurses, doctors, professionals and health administrations, teachers, the police and some emergency services, and whose salary base is more than $1 billion. All other agreements are classified as non-essential company agreements. The number of grades and the content of the notes vary depending on the public sector organization and their applicable company agreement. A full list of amendments to the current agreement and a copy of the final agreement for consideration are attached. . .
